Photos are taken in the app and land in your album as they are shot. Rate your photographer, tip if you loved it.
If nobody near your pin is available, the request expires on its own and you are not charged. Tucson spreads a long way, so a pin in midtown and a pin up a canyon road are not the same ask, and the desert edge of the metro is thinner than the middle of it.
You set the spot, so a request can start anywhere in the area. The names people use are downtown, Fourth Avenue, Barrio Viejo, Armory Park, El Presidio, Sam Hughes, midtown, the east side, Tanque Verde, the Catalina Foothills, Oro Valley, Marana, Vail, Sahuarita, and Green Valley.
The practical note: public streets and city parks are fine for a short handheld session. National park and state park units, tribal land, and ticketed gardens set their own rules, and some situations need a permit. Check the specific place first.
Gates Pass and the west side are the reason people propose here. The light lasts about twenty minutes and it is worth building the whole plan around it. Book the session to start well before you think you need to.
The University of Arizona, Pima, and every high school in the valley. December and May are the peaks, and campus rules on posed sessions vary, so the mall, Old Main from the sidewalk, and a desert spot ten minutes away all get used.
From November through March this city fills up with people escaping the cold, and most of them go home without a single photo of themselves in the desert. A twenty minute session fixes that on the way to lunch.
July through September, the afternoon storms stack up over the Catalinas and the sky does something no editing can fake. It is the best backdrop of the year here. It also comes with lightning and flash flooding, so keep it short and keep it sensible.
Reid Park for convenience, Catalina State Park for the view, your own back yard if you have a saguaro in it. Twenty minutes is usually right. In June, make it early morning and mean it.
Early morning, always. Pavement and sand get hot enough to hurt paws long before it feels dangerous to you, and a five or ten minute session in the cool part of the day is better for everyone.
The gem show and the rodeo bring the whole city out and fill every hotel in it. It is the busiest photo month of the year here for a reason.

OfMe photographers shoot inside the app, so every frame lands in your album as it is taken. Every photo is encrypted in transit and in storage. Photos are never saved to the photographer's camera roll, and the instant your session is delivered our servers revoke their access, so the photos stop being viewable in their app. No stranger walks away with pictures of your family. That is not a policy we wrote, it is how the system is built. More on that in our Privacy Policy.

Not yet. OfMe is coming to the App Store and Tucson is one of the first areas we are opening. We are not publishing a launch date until we can hold it.
You set the pin, so anywhere from downtown to the foothills to Oro Valley, Marana, Vail or Green Valley. Whether a photographer accepts depends on who is available near that pin at that moment, which is the honest answer for any on-demand service.
May through September, early morning or the hour before sunset. Midday desert sun is hard light and real heat. From November through March the middle of the day is comfortable and the light is fine.
From $9.99 for 5 minutes to $64.99 for a full hour, the same as every other OfMe area. That is the standard price list. Requesting one specific photographer by name costs 1.5 times the list price, and extending at the end of your session is priced at 10 percent off the extra time.
Both set their own rules and some situations need a permit, so check before you plan a session there. San Xavier is an active church on tribal land and should be treated as a place of worship first.
